What is it good for?

Work with a definite end. A migration, a large scrape, a batch job, a load test, a render — anything you would otherwise pay a month for and use for an afternoon.

What is it bad for?

Anything sustained. Burstable trades peak speed for cheap idle time and throttles under continuous load, so it is the wrong choice for a storefront, a game server or a messaging service. Those want General purpose or Dedicated.

What happens when the window ends?

The server comes down and billing stops. Tell us the start and end when you book it, and take a copy of anything you need to keep before the end of the window.
